Salient Features of Wood Row school

Wood Row School provides and environment which is rich and wholesome, free from noise and pollution and facilitates the implementation of play way method. The kindergarten classroom are safe, clean , spacious, well furnished, air- conditioned and decorated to provide a cheerful and playful atmosphere for our young students.

Art and Craft Room

Students display their creativity in the Art and Craft room. They are taught to recycle waste products into craft items and utility items.

Library

A well equipped library with books on various subjects, encyclopedias and periodicals are available for students. There is a proper provision of reading room and reference section.

Computer Education

We recognize the importance of computer literacy in today’s world. Computer education is imparted to all students from class Nursery as part of the curriculum and a well- equipped lab is meant to train our kids in the field of IT.

Indoor Sports Room

We have a seperate room for indoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, etc.

Music And Dance Room

We have well equipped Music and Dance rooms to bring out the hidden talents that are latent among the students. Music and Dance classes are included in the time table of each class.

Physical Education

We stress on the holistic education of the child. The child is encouraged to participate in various sports and physical activities to ensure a healthy body for a healthy mind. A huge playground with Basket ball, Squash, Lawn Tennis and Volley Ball has been provided and best coaches are made available for proper training.

Cultural Activities

There are numerous cultural activities planned systematically and imaginatively throughout the year. These allow every child to participate freely in debates, elocution competitions, declamations, quizzes, art competitions, plays, music and dance competitions and prizes are awarded to winners.
